Sandeep

Farmington Hills, MI

Sandeep is currently a junior studying Mechanical Engineering at UofM . He hopes to develop an entrepreneurial mindset and the necessary mechanical engineering skills to make a difference and advance the biomedical engineering industry. Outside of MPowered Entrepreneurship, his interests are the violin, a variety of sports, and beatboxing.

Ilan

Palo Alto, CA

Ilan is currently a sophomore studying Politics Philosophy and Economics at UofM. Ilan grew up in Palo Alto, California: the center of tech and entrepreneurship. Before working on IgniteIt Weekend Ilan worked on MPowered’s project Startup Highschool, attempting to bring entrepreneurship culture and thinking to high school students through an online pitch competition. His interests include Michigan football, public speaking and entrepreneurship.

Arthur

Novi, MI

Arthur is an undecided freshman at UofM. He is currently exploring a variety of academic fields, but is most interested in biochemistry and computer science. He hopes to develop his entrepreneurial ability with MPowered to be better able to develop solutions for real world problems. His other interests include sports and fitness, music, and food.

Alondra

Grand Rapids, MI

From Mexico to Grand Rapids, Michigan, Alondra is currently a sophomore studying Industrial and Operations Engineering with an International Minor at the University of Michigan. She brings her analytical engineering background along with her problem solving skills to support more entrepreneurship spirit on campus. Outside of the classroom and MPowered, she likes to travel the world, meet new people, and try different cuisines.

Pasha

Ukraine

Pasha is a freshman international student from Ukraine. He has a strong interest in economics and math, but he thinks it is essential to apply the knowledge learned in class to solve real world problems. This is why he is willing to contribute knowledge and experience to help others realize their ideas. He also loves to face new challenges and to explore the scope of his problem solving skills, which is the reason he joined Igniteit Weekend’s team.

Jaikishan

Okemos, MI

Jaikishan is a freshman from Okemos, Michigan. He hopes to dual major in business and organizational studies or perform an accelerated degree program with the School of Public Health for a master’s in Epidemiology. Jaikishan’s involvement in MPowered is due to his strong interests in entrepreneurship, and his desire to gain the skills to help others turn their ideas into reality. Jaikishan ultimately hopes to work in global health as a project manager for a nonprofit or governmental organization to better the world. In addition to MPowered Jaikishan also enjoys socializing, listening to music, trying new things, reading, and origami.

Nick

Northville, MI

Nick is a freshman from Northville, Michigan. He plans on majoring in economics or business with a minor in computer science. He has a passion for entrepreneurship and hopes to influence others to resonate the same passion. He hopes to expand knowledge of entrepreneurship within others and himself. Nick enjoys snowboarding and applying his creative side. All together, he is extremely excited to take IgniteIt Weekend to the next level!
